Tyler Van Anrooy playing well at BC Amateur

Tyler Van Anrooy of Courtenay is in a four-way tie for 27th place after three rounds of play at the 112th BC Amateur golf championship.

The Sunnydale Golf & Country Club member is at 11-over 224 after shooting 77 on Tuesday, 73 on Wednesday and 74 on Thursday.

Also 11-over are Doug Roxburgh of Vancouver, Greg Trammell of Vancouver and Dylan Hughes of North Vancouver.

Michael Belle of Burnaby is leading the tourney (and is the only golfer under par) at one-under 203, one shot better than Spencer Weiss of Sammamish, WA.

The tourney wraps up Friday at the Seymour Golf & Country Club in North Vancouver.

Logan Yanick of Courtenay missed the cut as the Crown Isle golfer was 17-over 159 after rounds of 78 and 81.
