Knights gear up for football

The Meadow Ridge Football Association is gearing up for its 22nd season as a non-profit association.

The group provides the gear and the financial help that some families may need to play tackle football. All boys and girls have the opportunity to play football, flag football or join a cheerleading team. Flag football starts for children born as early as 2007, 2008, and 2009.

The football association has a wealth of National Coaching Certification Program coaches, and all of them used to play football.

The coaching philosophy is that structure in a fun atmosphere is a winning combination.

With organizations like Kidsport, Jumpstart, and Tzu Chi to provide financial aid, families face fewer barriers to joining sports teams.
