The Cranbrook Heat U14C  girls fastball team will be coming home from Maple Ridge with a medal after a strong showing in the U14C provincial championship over the weekend. The Heat won six games as they advanced to the finals against the Chilliwack Her-ricanes. In an exciting final game, the Heat lost 11-10 after 10 innings of play to take silver in the provincial championship.
