An upcoming charity golf tournament will see 100 per cent of the profit donated to the Danny Kimber Bursary Fund.

Organized by Mission's Lanka Jewels, the second annual event will be held at Sandpiper Golf Cour in Harrison Mills on June 20.

Kimber passed away 10 years ago due to heart failure.

"He was a hero to many in the community of Mission," read a press release. "While adversity tends to weaken most, Danny used it as a source of strength."

The bursary fund will be awarded to a deserving local child who aspires to achieve their personal best.
