Renegades roll into playoffs on a high note

The Duncan Midget AA Renegades baseball  team finished the regular season with a 10-3 record.

Recent outings included a 13-5 win over Gordon Head. Blair Robertson led the offense, going four-for-four with two doubles and a triple.

Spencer Martin contributed a triple and a single.

The Renegades also avenged an earlier defeat this season to Layritz 1 with a 6-5 victory.

The Renegades used Jordy Frost, Reiya Tomida, Zach Komst and Robertson at pitcher, who combined to limit Layritz to two unearned runs.

Frost also led the offense, going three-for-three at the plate and Komst led off the game with a home run.

The Renegades faced Ladysmith in their first playoff game.
