On May 9 to 11th, 2014 Kevin Evan from Jaffray, Brittany Johnson and Elaine Johnson from Cranbrook, BC, participated in the 2014 Gator Cup held in Gainesville, Florida. All competed in the Open Team event.

On May 9th, the Women’s Compound Canadian Team shot well enough to achieve a Silver placing!

The tournament consisted of the Team Event, Qualification (72 arrows at 50 meters) and an elimination. Although the three competitors did not finish in the top 3 they shot well considering the weather conditions were not something they were completely comfortable in - 31 to 36 degrees with 80% humidity and winds gusting up to 25 mph (40 kms/hr). The Easton Foundation puts on an amazing shoot!
