Towhees on consolation side at B.C. rugby tourney

A first round loss has the Vanier Towhees on the consolation side of the BCSSRU AAA Boys Provincial rugby championships.

The #7 Towhees fell 35-12 to #10 Carson Graham on May 24 at Brentwood College. On May 28 they meet #15 Semiahmoo at Abbotsford in a 2 p.m. tilt. All 16 teams gathered at noon Wednesday for opening ceremonies at Rotary Stadium. The tourney continues Thursday, with finals Saturday afternoon followed by closing ceremonies.
