Sox sting Hornets 12-10

The Fraternity of Eagles Black Sox edged the Green Hornets 12-10 in Mosquito baseball Thursday night at Lakeview Park.

Damon Cover had a pair of big hits and a highlight-reel catch in centre field for the Black Sox, while catchers’ Olivia Poplawski, Nik Whinston and Braden Schmiegelt did a fabulous job reducing the Hornets’ running game.

The Black Sox outlased Ironman Directional Drilling Green Hornets 12-10.

Seth Maglio started on the Hornets’ mound, followed by Delaney Marchand closing the game.

Erik Pastro  stroked his first home run and Nation Bonneau smacked a triple. Coaches Chad Rachwalski and assistant Mark Pastro were impressed with entire team.
