Poppy falls to Credo Christian in quarter-finals

D.W. Poppy Secondary school's Jenna Dionisio (in white jersey) with Credo Christian school's Emily Vandergugten in hot pursuit in the Grade 8-9 girls' Fraser Valley quarter finals Thursday afternoon.

The Credo girls entered this game as underdogs, having lost twice this season to the Credo squad, and came away the surprised and pleased champions after winning 1-0.

Credo's striker Caitlin Sikma scored the winner in the second half of the game on Poppy's field.
