Hurricanes win league cup

Mission's U13 Hurricanes were crowned the BC Coastal Girls Division 3 League Cup soccer champions this past weekend.

The team earned their way into the single knock-out series by securing the Alouette District Cup last month.

Exciting games were played against Port Moody, Richmond, and Chilliwack in the competition.

The entire team put in strong performances, and Brooklynn Cooper was solid in net.

The Hurricanes are coached by Travis James and managed by Brenda Scott.

Registration is now open for the summer (boys and girls born between 2008 and 2011) and fall/winter (boys and girls born between 1997 and 2007) seasons. For more information visit www.missionsoccerclub.com.
