Memorable performances from Max Reinhart, Emile Poirier and Doug Carr highlighted the Abbotsford Heat's 3-0 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Friday evening.

Reinhart notched a goal and two assists to tie Krys Kolanos's team record of 61 points in a single season, Poirier scored in his pro debut, and goalie Carr picked up his first AHL victory via a 27-save shutout.

The Heat (42-25-8, 92 points) also made a bit of history as a group, tying a franchise record set in 2011-12 with their 42nd victory. They have a chance to break the record on Saturday, when they wrap up their regular season schedule at the Texas Stars (5 p.m. Pacific time).

Rookie defenceman Zach Davies got Abbotsford on the board with a power-play marker at 3:07 of the first period, with Reinhart and Brett Kulak picking up the assists.

Poirier, a first-round draft choice by the Calgary Flames in 2013, ensured his first game as a pro would be one to remember as he converted a feed from Reinhart on a two-on-one break later in the frame.

Reinhart supplied some insurance at the 12-minute mark of the third, beating San Antonio goalie Scott Clemmensen with a wrist shot from the slot, off a pass from Ben Hanowski.

The Heat, coming off a 3-1 win over the Rampage on Thursday, are 5-0-1 in their last six games.
