(VIDEO) Vancouver Whitecaps beat Houston 2-1, remain unbeaten in 2014

Southside? Strong side.

The Vancouver Whitecaps remained unbeaten in 2014, beating the Houston Dynamo 2-1 on Saturday at BC Place for their second win in their first four games this season. The victory also pushed Vancouver into a tie for second in the MLS's Western Conference with Real Salt Lake, two points behind FC Dallas.

Kenny Miller and Jordan Harvey scored for Vancouver. Houston's Ricardo Clark brought the lead to 2-1 late in regulation, scoring in the 75th minute, and the Caps held on to pick up their three points.

Drawing into the match for Vancouver were captain Jay DeMerit and Gershon Koffe, replacing Johnny Leveron and Nigel Reo-Coker (respectively).

The Caps' next match is against the Colorado Rapids – same bat channel, at BC Place – next Saturday, with kickoff slotted for 3:30 p.m. PST.
