Two archers – Brittany Johnson from Cranbrook and Kevin Evans from Jaffray head to Phoenix, Arizona the first weekend in April to compete in this year’s first outdoor tournament. This event is just one of many tournaments these two archers will be competing in this year.

Kevin Evans has had an extremely busy  couple of years, attending the Paralympics in 2008 - Bejjing finishing in 5th and 2012 - London finishing in 9th. He holds 4 world records all Canadian outdoor Para compound records. He won two World championships in 2007 and 2009 - receiving Gold medals.

Brittany is no slouch either. At 17 years old she competed in her first World Junior Championships in Oct. 2013 finishing in 8th place in the World. Brittany holds the Canadian Junior record in the 50 meter elimination and has sat in the Gold ranking squad for two years in a row. She has won many gold and silver medals in her three years of competing Nationally. Good luck to both in Arizona.
