Glenbrook Middle School came in 10th at the provincial bantam girls high school basketball championships in Pitt Meadows.

In the opening round, the second-seeded Sullivan Heights Stars of Surrey defeated Glenbrook 50-38. But Glenbrook bounced back with wins over a pair of higher seeds downing the Vernon Panthers 31-24 and Victoria’s Gordon Head Middle School 29-28.

On Saturday, the Argyle Pipers of North Vancouver beat Glenbrook 42-23 in the consolation final.

Glenbrook’s Sarah Forgie was named a third-team tournament all-star.
