Tri-City skiers bring home medals after biathlon championship

Tri-City skiers and members of the Port Moody Royal Canadian Air Cadet 754 Squadron are bringing home medals after the Cadet Provincial Biathlon Championships in Mount Washington earlier this month.

Kimberley Buller of Port Coquitlam won silver with a final time of 28:10.0 on a 3.5 km course, Andrei Secu of Coquitlam won silver in the male junior competition with a final time of 21:23.5 on a 2.8 km course and Lucas Morissette of Port Moody won gold in the male senior competition with a final time of 22:29.3 on a 3.5 km course.

Morissette is also heading to Nationals in Martock, Nova Scotia next month while Secu and Buller are headed to the BC Winter Games this weekend.
