Last weekend, Revelstoke Nordic skiers competed in the second B.C. Cup held at Stake Lake, near Kamloops. Athletes were treated to sunny skies and temperatures just below freezing for both days of racing.

Conditions were fast and the course was the most technically demanding yet this season. Not only were the courses technically challenging, the event was attended by over 300 participants from across the province; the most competitive event to date.

Saturday's event was an interval start free and distances ranged depending on age between 0.9-15km.

On Sunday, skiers got to race an exciting mass start classic event over the same course as the previous day. Here are some highlights from a fine showing by our 16 Revelstoke skiers:

A selection of Revelstoke skiers will be heading to the Okanagan Cup in Penticton this Sunday. The following week, Larch Hills in Salmon is holding the BC Midget Championships for skiers aged 9 - 12.
