VIDEO: Vancouver Canucks end losing streak with 2-1 win over St. Louis

Welcome back, boys.

The Vancouver Canucks ended a couple streaks on Saturday night. A seven-game winning streak for the St. Louis Blues, cut short with a 2-1 loss at Rogers Arena. And a five-game losing streak for the Canucks, a span that saw the Orcas drop four third-period leads to a couple California teams and a couple of Pennsylvania clubs.

Mike Santorelli had the opener for Vancouver, tipping in Jason Garrison's point shot with just over 14 minutes remaining. Zac Dalpe opened the game's scoring, for Vancouver, deflecting a Daniel Sedin shot past goalie Brian Elliott 1:31 into the second period.

Canadian Olympian-to-be Alex Pietrangelo had the only marker for the Blues, tying the game at 1-1 just over six minutes after Dalpe's opener.

Goaltender Eddie Lack was named the game's first star, making 30 saves in a one-goal-against effort.
