Eight Vancouver Canucks named to Sochi 2014 Olympic hockey rosters

Eight players from the Vancouver Canucks' system will be in Sochi, Russia this February to represent their various countries at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Defenceman Dan Hamhuis and goalie Roberto Luongo were named to Team Canada on Tuesday morning.

Forward Ryan Kesler was named to Team USA on January 1, after the Winter Classic in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Team Sweden will feature the most Canucks – three – with d-man Alex Edler and twin forwards Daniel and Henrik Sedin.

Defenceman Yannick Weber will represent Switzlerand's men's ice hockey team, and Canucks prospect Ronalds Kenins will play for Latvia.
