Midget Bulldogs play big in tourney

The Van Isle Ford Alberni Valley Midget Bulldogs continued league play.

In mid-November, the Bulldogs travelled to Victoria to play Victoria Racquet Club. On day one, the Bulldogs came away with a 1-1 tie after some outstanding goaltending from Jessie Geddes.

Sunday saw the Bulldogs host Campbell River.

In a close game, with only one penalty for each team, the final score was 3-3.

Logan Henson, unassisted, scored the first goal for the Bulldogs, the second goal came from Codie Beecroft, assisted by Henson and Dave Friel, the third goal was scored by Ethan Sundstrum, assisted by Keagun Selva and Henson.

Bullodgs goaltender Ryan Price was solid in net.

Last weekend, the Midget Bulldogs played a league game in Nanaimo.
