Eleven Aldergrove skaters competed at the annual Jingle Blades competition on  November 22-24 at Trout Lake Arena in Burnaby.

Rachel Rollke had a stunning performance to bring home the Gold medal in the Introductory Interpretive Event.

In the Star 1 event Kristen Geisbrecht, Julia Rybalka and Lexus Lomas received a Gold standing and Ashley Borglund and Courtney Watson received a Silver standing.

In the Star 2 event Tia Flello got the Gold standing and Katie deGroot, Tarra Lomas, Sophia Rollke, and Allison Campbell all received a Silver standing.

All the skaters had fabulous performances, skating some of their best programs.

The club skaters are working towards the first Synchronized Skating Exhibition on Dec. 7 at the Pacific Ice Gala at the South Surrey arena, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

In the new year they will be travelling to Lethbridge for a competition of B.C. and Alberta skaters.
