Abbotsford Heat centre Ben Street has been named the CCM/AHL player of the month for November.

The Coquitlam native began the season with the Calgary Flames, and upon returning to the AHL, has been lighting it up. He led all AHL skaters in goals (11) and points (19) while appearing in 15 games during a busy month for the Heat, who won 12 of those games.

Street is the first player in Heat history to win the AHL player of the month award, and will be presented with an etched crystal trophy prior to an upcoming Heat game.
