The Hume Hotel captured the Kootenay Lake Rec Hockey League late last month in convincing fashion capping off a season of dominance.

In the best-of-three league final at the Nelson and District Community Complex against the Destroyers, Hume won the first game 8-4 and then followed it up with a series-clinching 10-2 win.

The post-season crown followed a regular season which saw the team compile a 32-1-1 record. The championship is the third in a row for the Hume.
