The Kamloops Blazers posted a win and ended the Prince George Cougars' playoff hopes at Interior Savings Centre on Friday, March 15.
Kamloops won 5-2.

Kamloops product Ryan Hanes, beloved in the River City for his service with the Blazers, scored for Prince George, as did Tanner Lishchynsky.
Cole Cheveldave made 21 saves and picked up the win in the crease for the Blue and Orange.
Mac Engel started in net for Prince George, but was injured and replaced by Brett Zarowny in the first period.
Engel made seven saves, while Zarowny stopped 15 shots.
The Blazers skated to centre ice after the final whistle to thank the crowd for attending their final home game of the regular season.
Hanes, a stray Cougar in the Blazer pack, gave his fans a quick wave and skated off the ISC ice for the final time as a WHL player.
The rematch — the final game of the regular season for both teams — gets underway at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, in Prince George.
