Trail Parks and Rec - A spring tee party
There’s still time to register for our Spring Break Camp Chaos for ages six to 12. This camp will run for the full two weeks of Spring Break, Mar. 18-22, and Mar. 25-28.
Both weeks run each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with drop off starting at 8:30 a.m. The kids will have a blast in the Trail Memorial Centre gym playing games, doing crafts and projects, and meeting new friends. There will also skating and swimming days, so don’t miss out on the fun.
Junior Golf Camp for ages seven to 15 is instructed by Kevin Nesbitt, CPGA. This program will consist of multilevel instruction and rewards, support materials, and assistance with developing the junior golfer through Canada’s national CN Future Links development program.
Group 1 is for beginners ages seven to 13, Mar. 18 to 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Group 2 is for intermediates ages 10 to 15 years, Mar. 25 to 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. All located at the Willi Krause Fieldhouse.
Spring Break Hockey Camp for ages 6 to 12 will run from Mar. 25 to 28. This camp will focus on extra playing time, with skills taught each class, and then fun games to enjoy practicing your skills. Ages six to eight runs Monday to Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; ages nine to 12 runs Monday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Both located in the Kids Rink.
Public Skating is throwing its Spring Break Parties planned for the last two weeks of the season. On Mar. 19, 21, 26, and 28, come on down to the arena and enjoy our spring break themes. There will be fun music, prizes, pizza and hot chocolate. Come dressed up in your best spring break theme, and you could win a prize. All these skating times will be held from noon to 1 p.m. See you there!
Mother’s Unite Garage Sale is being held on Apr. 6 at the Trail Memorial Centre gym. The gym will be turned into a giant indoor garage sale for all items suitable for children from newborns to 12-year-olds.
The doors will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. If you wish to sell items, you can rent a table for only $20, and turn those gently used items into cash. Register at Trail Parks and Recreation by Apr. 4.
