Dragon boat team looking for paddlers

The Spirit of the Fraser Valley youth dragon boat team is looking for paddlers as the season gets set to start.
The team is open to youths ages 13-18.
The team practises Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Harrison Lake.
Additional practices are sometimes held on Wednesday evenings.
Professional coaching is provided by the Fraser Valley Dragon Boat Club, which also provides the boat, paddles and personal floatation devices.
The team participates in competitions throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, including the massive Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival in June.
The cost to join is $50, which covers individual insurance.
