After loss, ICE bounce back
Kootenay could not get any momentum going at Western Financial Place Friday night versus the Red Deer Rebels. The ICE would get one goal from Jaedon Descheneau off of 22 shots.
The Rebels would only muster up 26 shots but would find the twine 4 times for the 4- 1 win. Saturday night Western Financial Place was host to School Spirit Night and Pink the Rink where fans were asked to wear pink to support Anti-Bullying Week.
With the energy of 4016 screaming fans the Kootenay ICE would not disappoint. The ICE would go up by two in the first period on goals from Sam Reinhart and Luke Philp. In the second period Medicine Hat would score early on the power play inching the Tigers within one. Tanner Faith would shelf a shot late in the second to put Kootenay back up by two goals. In the third period again the Tigers would claw back within a goal before Levi Cable secure the win on his empty net goal.
