Ghostriders take 3 - 2 series lead after beating Rockies 6-1

The Fernie Ghostriders kept their fans on their feet Friday night beating the Columbia Valley Rockies 6-1 at home.Currently, Braeden Monk is who is hot in the KIJHL, Monk scored twice and assisted once, leading the Riders to an 6-1 win over Columbia Valley in game 5 of the divisional semi-final.

Fernie Ghostriders top defenseman has been Patrick Webb with two goals, three assists and five points in five games. Webb is able to move the puck very well to create open ice as well as put the puck in the back of the net.

A couple of Riders are also enforcing the game with Conner Lowe-Wylde with 24 penalty minutes, two goals and one assist for three points in five games and Tyler Gonzales with four points, three goals and one assist.

Fernie travels to Invermere tonight hoping to end the series with another win to face the Golden Rockets who stunned the Kimberley Dynamiters in a four game sweep. The Rockets out scored the Dynamiters 27-10 in those four games.

Tonight's game will be broadcasted live on the Drive
