BCHL extra: Caps get coach
The Cowichan Valley Capitals team that visits Prospera Centre Saturday night will have a new face behind the bench when the 2013-14 season starts.
The team announced Wednesday that Bob Beatty will take over as head coach and general manager once this season is done.
Bentley comes to Cowichan Valley after experiencing significant success in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Bentley spent nine years at the helm of the La Ronge Ice Wolves, guiding that team to league titles in 2010 and 2011.

"The Cowichan Valley has a reputation of being a great hockey community. I am very pleased to be afforded the chance to enjoy living and working in Duncan and can't wait to get started on a new challenge."
Aaron Plumb has been serving as the Capitals head coach this year.
