The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 6-1 on Thursday night at Prospera Place, the team's 22nd straight win at home, the third longest home winning streak in Western Hockey League history.

Tyson Baillie scored twice in a first star performance and Jordon Cooke was solid in net, in earning his 28th win of the season in front of 5,331 fans in Kelowna.

Zach Franko, Tyrell Goulbourne, Jesse Lees and Colton Sissons also scored for Kelowna in the win as the team improved to 38-10-3-1 and 23-2-0-0 on home ice this season.

Check out the game summary here.

The Rockets 22 game home winning streak equals the streak of the 22 set by the 1984-85 Medicine Hat Tigers and is the third longest in league history. It's two short of the 24 straight home wins the Tacoma Rockets had in 1992-93 and the record of 29 set by the 1993-94 Kamloops Blazers.

The Rockets are back in action Friday night when they travel to Vancouver for the first half of a home and home series with the Vancouver Giants. The Giants and Rockets meet Saturday night at Prospera Place.
