Ali scores up a storm for Hyacks

Meriam Ali pumped in 34 points as the visiting New Westminster Hyacks defeated the Mulgrave Titans of West Vancouver 85-49 in a senior girls high school basketball game Saturday.
Izabelle Datayan scored 16 points for New West which improved its overall record to 7-4 win the win.
On Thursday, Ali continued her hot play by netting 25 points as the Hyacks downed the Moscrop Panthers 66-31 in a Burnaby/New Westminster league game.
