Renz powers Vernon to OT win
Ryan Renz scored the overtime winner as the Vernon Vipers outlasted the West Kelowna Warriors 4-3 in B.C. Hockey League action Saturday night at Wesbild Centre.
Aaron Hadley provided a pair of goals for Vernon, and assisted on the opening marker by Adam Tambellini in the first period.
David Pope replied for the Warriors with a pair of snipes off faceoffs won by Shawn Hochhausen. Pope set up Seb Lloyd for a backdoor feed for the Warriors' third goal.
The Snakes continue their three-game homestand Wednesday night against the Trail Smoke Eaters, followed by the Powell River Kings next Saturday.
