The incidence of pucks getting past Jordon Cooke last month was exceedingly low.

As a result, the Kelowna Rockets' veteran has been named the Canadian Hockey League's goalie of the month for December.

The 19-year-old goaltender posted a 6-0-0-0 record through December and is currently on an 11-game win streak (Nov. 23 – present).  His 2.00 goals-against average led all WHL goaltenders (minimum 300 minutes played) while posting 0.908 save percentage, and allowing just 12 goals on 131 shots-against in 360 minutes played.

Cooke currently ranks sixth among all WHL goaltenders with a 2.48 goals-against average and fifth with 18 wins, in 28 games-played thus far this season. His consistent play helped the Rockets to a sizzling 10-2-0-0 record in December.
