Mixed lawn bowling triples this weekend

From the greens comes word that the Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club is holding its first of four Mixed Triples indoor tournaments this weekend with games going on from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. both days.

“We have 12 teams that will be playing,” said QBLBC president Gavin Reid, adding there will be players in the mix from Qualicum Beach, Port Alberni, Parksville and Nanaimo.

There is no admission to the tournament, “so anyone can come and watch for free.”
