Sunrays in the swim of things

Members of the Kamloops Sunrays synchronized swimming club had fun under and above water on Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Tournament Capital Centre’s Canada Games Pool — and photographer Allen Douglas was there to capture it with his lens. The club held its Winter Watershow to showcase the sport to the public.

If you want to try synchronized swimming, the Sunrays are hosting free drop-in sessions on Monday, Dec. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and on Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Canada Games Pool. Put on a one-piece swimsuit and bring your goggles.
