Five athletes from Abbotsford's Twisters Gymnastics Club will be traveling to Japan next week.

Ken Ikeda and Zachary Clay will be competing at the prestigious Toyota World Cup, Dec. 15-16. Athletes from around the world will be competing, including the 2012 Olympic men’s all-around champion, Kohei Uchimura. For Clay, this competition will be his debut as a senior athlete.

Three other Twisters athletes will be joining them on their trip to Japan: Jonathan Osers, Steven Chaplin and Nicolas Garfias. They will be training there with Olympic and world-class athletes as well as watching the competition.
