Hyacks catch Greyhounds

Meriam Ali and Camille Sangalang scored 12 points each as the New Westminster Hyacks downed Point Grey Greyhounds 64-40 in a senior girls high school basketball game in Vancouver on Tuesday.

Other double digit scorers for New West were Hannah De Vos with 11 points and Lauren Denusik with 10.

The Hyacks’ juvenile girls squad was also victorious downing the Greyhounds 40-22.
