Lippy gets tryout
JC Lipon will compete for a chance to play at the world junior hockey championship, held from Dec. 26 to Jan. 4 in Ufa, Russia.
The 19-year-old Kamloops Blazer will attend Team Canada’s selection camp, held from Dec. 10 to Dec. 13 in Calgary.
Lipon had a tremendous start to the 2012-2013 WHL campaign, with 22 goals and 55 points in 31 games.
The Regina product’s linemate, Colin Smith, 19, was left off the selection-camp list.
