Saints march to volleyball victory

The junior boys' volleyball teams from Norkam and Sa-Hali secondaries qualified for the Okanagan Valley Championship, to be held on Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17, at a yet-to-be-determined location.

NorKam's Saints beat Sa-Hali's Sabres in straight sets (25-10, 25-11) in the final of the West Zone Junior Boys Volleyball Championship, held at NorKam on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Taylor Labonte led the Saints, notching 17 kills, three blocks and two service aces.

Evan Cave also contributed for NorKam, adding 14 kills, four blocks and 12 digs.

Connor McKenzie racked up 41 set assists.
