Alberni Golf: Courtenay crew rocks Alberni golfers

It was fairly quiet at Alberni Golf Course on Sunday, as we had a number on members playing in the inter-club at Courtenay.

Our boys didn’t fair too well at Sunnydale losing   61/2 to 81/2.

Locally, the closet to the pin winners were, Bill Morin on No. 2,  Gord Cutting pocketed $25 for the Charity Closest to the pin on No. 4. Gary Korven on No. 13 and Brett Parhar on No. 17. For his second shot on No. 11 it was Mark Anderson.

The hidden hole money of $463 is still unclaimed as there wasn’t an outright winner. Starting next week there will be two hidden holes.

Congratulations go out to Gary Korven for his hole- in- one on No. 17 a couple of weeks ago
