Diving for gold
Delta’s Cassandra Prygiel captured a pair of gold medals in the one-metre and three-metre springboards this week at the BC Summer Games in Kelowna. In the Girls’ C group, where divers performed six dives each on the one metre and three metre springboards, both gold medals went to the 13-year old. Prygiel recently came in fourth in her age group at the Canadian national diving competitions at the 2008 Speedo Junior National Championships, held in Thunder Bay, Ontario, July 11-14.
