Elisa Glennon joked she goes all out when it comes to her personal style.

"I like neutrals, jeans—I live in my jeans. Just kind of all natural."

The South Delta Secondary teacher and busy mom received a Be Fabulous makeover after her husband was the successful bidder of the auction item at the Delta Hospital Foundation's Moonlight Gala fundraiser earlier this fall.

Sister Krista Hansen said Elisa is a dedicated mom worthy of a makeover.

"She works hard, she's a super mom. She drives kids to hockey, soccer, she's everywhere every day, and she works, so she deserves this."

"This is a nice reprieve, a nice little break from my busy scheduled life," said Glennon of the makeover, which included an educational shopping trip with Be Fab stylist Rachel Zaharik (rzaharik@gmail.com). "It's nice to pamper yourself once in a while, remember to take care of mom, take care of myself."

Zaharik said during the shopping excursion they looked for pieces that were classy yet comfortable.

Glennon said the clothes were perfect for fall and the entire look came together well.

Spa Vilamoura

Spa Vilamoura offered their expert services in providing Glennon with a manicure, pedicure and make-up.

Owner Kim Oldham shaped and trimmed Glennon's nails and chose a popular dark, rich colour to complement her new look.

"It's been a fantastic experience," said Glennon. "I'd like to thank Rachel, and all the people at Myne2 and Spa Vilamoura for spoiling me today."

Myne2 Hair Spa

Myne2 stylist Robyn McAlpine added warm lowlights to give Glennon's hair a more sophisticated warmth for fall.

"I'm in good hands," said Glennon. "She'll take away my bleach blonde summer look."

Relaxing in the stylist's chair at the salon, she added, "I'm looking forward to the transformation and the end result."
