Local fitness instructor PJ Wren has a recipe for a protein shake any age can benefit from.

It’s chock full of protein, vitamins, Omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants.

And it’s simple, requiring only five ingredients and a blender.

In August, Wren opened her home-based studio in Tsawwassen, returning to what she loves: working one-on-one with clients and focusing on their success.

For her younger clientele that often means weight loss and increasing muscle tone. For many clients over 40, they want to increase their energy levels and improve sleep.

Wren says she enjoys seeing her clients’ progress. One woman, in her seventies, is now taking on the same program Wren would suggest to a 50-year-old.

She also goes into businesses to conduct company workouts, a way to give office employees a healthy break from their desks.

Fitness with PJ can be reached at pwren@dccnet.com or 604-341-1509.
