A driver dragged two Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers with him when he fled a vehicle search at the Boundary Bay border crossing Wednesday (Oct. 26).

The man's vehicle was stopped at the border entering Tsawwassen from Point Roberts. Delta Police report the driver was cooperative until the officers began a search of his grey Volvo S40.

The man got into his car and drove away, dragging the two officers with him a short distance. The driver escaped. He's described as a Caucasian male, 5'9", 145 lbs. with dark spiked hair and was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and white Puma running shoes.

The officers did not suffer serious injuries, and police are continuing their investigation.
