A 29-year-old Richmond man died last Thursday morning in a roll-over crash involving a pick-up truck near Spy Hill, Sask., about 130 kilometres east of Regina.

RCMP from Esterhazy and Langenburg responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m., and arrived at the scene to find two men had died in the crash, while the driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital.

RCMP Const. Morgan Preston said the road conditions were fair, and there was no snow.

The second deceased passenger is a 26-year-old man from Fort McMurray, while the driver, who remains in hospital, is a 25-year-old man from Yorkton, Sask.

Preston said the families of the deceased have been notified, but no names are yet being released as the investigation is still ongoing.

Preston said more information about the crash may be released later this week.
