Richmond RCMP is asking the public for help in identifying a bank robber caught on camera.

On Saturday, Aug. 1, at 3:50 p.m., police responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the Seafair CIBC bank at 8751 No. 1 Rd.

Police say a man said he had a gun and demanded cash from the bank, but no weapons were seen. After grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as caucasian, between 25 and 30 years old, five foot six with a medium build wearing reflective sunglasses, a yellow striped collared jacket and a beige ball cap with the word "lucky" on the back.
