Richmond woman dies in car crash near Williams Lake

A Richmond woman died in a car crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 97 that sent two others to hospital.
At about 3:50 p.m. July 19, a northbound car crossed the centre line near Enterprise Road, about 30 kilometres south of Williams Lake, and collided with a southbound car head-on.
Highway 97 was closed for several hours.
Angela Fisher, 30, of Richmond was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, and two others were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police say it appears that the occupants of both vehicles were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor. The road was bare and dry and in very good condition.
Police are asking that any witnesses to the incident come forward and speak with investigators. The Williams Lake RCMP can be contacted at 250-392-6211.
