If the Steveston Salmon Festival’s craft fair lacks excitement or the main stage acts aren’t loud and rocky enough for you, the Youth Rock Fest might be more your taste.

On July 1, music, a barbecue, skateboarding and room for dancing will be the main features of the Youth Rock Fest located at Steveston Community Centre’s Lacrosse Box. Four bands will be featured at the July 1 celebrations. They will be playing throughout the day with a break at 12:45 for the Skate Competion.

All of the artists were handpicked by the SWAT team, Steveston With Active Teens.

The first band, Hello, Sir, will be playing the stage located at Steveston Community Centre’s Lacrosse Box at 11 a.m.
