L’Ecole des Navigateurs, Richmond’s only public French school, is holding its third annual Gingerbread Man Party.
The party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the school (8580 Kilgour Pl.).
Children can decorate gingerbread men, watch a movie in French and celebrate Christmas in French. Of course, Santa Claus will also be there!
For the parents, there will be French books and video sellers so you can do some Christmas shopping. All visitors will qualify for our door prize raffles.
As the only public French school in Richmond, l’Ecole des Navigateurs aims to promote not only the French language but also the many Francophone cultures. Last year’s event attracted more than 200 people and we are hoping to welcome even more people this year.
The fee for gingerbread decorating is $5 per child. All the proceeds will go to the parent’s advisory council of Ecole des Navigateurs.
