Letter: Councillor not doing enough for Rutland

To the editor:

Open letter to Gerry Zimmermann:

As a [Rutland] resident, liaison person and councillor you sure are doing a lousy job.

You should be ashamed to be offering a “carrot”—and that’s all it is [$800,000 for Centennial Park and $400,000 for improvements]—to the Rutland Park Society.

Instead you should be fighting for funds to improve the park and the hall. It doesn’t have to be done all at once but do it over a period of years.

Doug McNair,

West Kelowna
