Wake up call to climate change deniers

It was approximately four years ago that 19 leading luminaries of the Trail community got together to denounce an article by Gwynne Dyer concerning climate change.

Now hearing and seeing the many reports of forest fires in B.C. and floods on the prairies not to mention what has happened in Australia with fire and typhoons in the Philippines as well as in the States, I am wondering now, if it is so bloody important to hang onto the traditional jobs and lifestyle that Trail has embraced for so long.

Secondary manufacturing was denied the citizens of this area for the assumed benefit of the existing main industries, for so long that half of those people are now working the Wal Mart, while the downtown continues to decay, and the city continues to demonstrate their incompetence in preventing a flood on the side of a mountain of all stupid places!

At this juncture I would be interested to see if the same 19 self interested naysayers of climate change would like to repeat their article they wrote in response to Gwynne Dyer, to this paper, in the so called name of science a few short years prior.

Or perhaps the best plan might be to repeat their statement at four-year intervals as a check against the fallacy of climate change as we move forward?
